Building the Foundation for Success
More than 10 years ago, after testing various development platform options, Agilab selected Oracle APEX as their platform of choice.

By engaging with the Insum development team and the Insum OCI team, Agilab benefits from the synergy between Insum teams, optimizing the usage of both the Oracle APEX platform and the OCI platform.
The Challenge
Agilab faced several challenges in its mission to modernize services and support laboratories efficiently. The company required scalable, high-performing development and infrastructure platforms to accommodate its growing SaaS platform. In addition, the strict regulatory requirements of the pharmaceutical industry necessitated a robust system capable of ensuring security and compliance. - Custom Application Development: Together they developed module-based Oracle APEX applications hosted on OCI, enabling laboratories to access tailored tools for their operations.
- Insum Oracle Cloud Managed Services: Insum introduced their “Oracle Cloud Managed Services” to manage Agilab’s tenant, monitoring, maintaining and supporting their stacks, reducing the operational burden for Agilab.
- Enhanced User Experience: Oracle APEX’s low-code capabilities enabled rapid development and deployment of new features and updates and ensured a modern, intuitive user interface.

The Results
