On this week’s episode, Anton briefly comes in from vacation to join Hayden in greeting special guest and Insum alumni Vincent Morneau, who is now part of the APEX team at Oracle. In his tip,
Vincent treats us to a peek under the hood of recently released APEX 21.1. APEX’s Universal Theme is completely re-written in this latest release in order to leverage a new technology called CSS variables. One of the challenges when writing a theme is to make all components consistent with each other and the best way to do that is to use the concept of a variable, like in other programming languages.
